AI assist tiers
With OPENROUTER_API_KEY, Jev makes the fast, calibrated intake decisions: expense category, document kind, and an unusual-expense flag. At or above 85% confidence its answer stands; below that the case escalates to Gemini. Gemini extracts LPA terms, answers the escalated classifications, and drafts close memos through the same OpenRouter account. Every suggestion still waits for a human, and no AI runs in the money path; deterministic engines compute allocations, postings, balances, and checks.
Internal append-only ledger
Today the ledger is internal and immutable: events post through src/lib/ledger/, balances are derived, and period locks are enforced. It is the boundary for a future Fragment swap.
